I made my 5th Streamlit app for another Lonely Octopus project. It’s an AI merch designer which generates new merch concepts by analyzing the user’s text description of the style/content and their selection of the specific merchandise type they want it to be (e.g. t-shirt, mug, tote bag, etc.), then produces one generated image via DALL-E.

This was my first-time instructing AI to analyze TWO different prompt sources (text, drop-down) to generate ONE output as an image. This took a bit of tweaking to get it to run smoothly and design the sidebar vs. main page well, but I got it working!

Next, I want to build an iteration option so if the user doesn’t like the design, they can remix it by adding additional text prompts without starting all over.

The prompt for the above was a combo of black metal and cats with the product selection being a tote bag. I really love how this turned out!!
